Cara and I are both tour geeks, so we ventured out to West Bridgewater to visit a maple syrup farm. We went to Matfield Maple Farm and took a tour before the season ended. This farm had llamas and one of them had an underbite. I thought he would make a good Pixar character. We got to taste the sap right out of the tree before it's made into syrup. It's watery, slightly sweet and has a really refreshing taste. I wanted a whole cup of it.
Last night Chad and I went out to 28 Degrees in the South End for his co-worker, Collette's, birthday party. I loved meeting everyone and found a fellow foodie friend. I wouldn't recommend this place though. The cocktails were subpar, the service was terrible, and the restrooms were down this off-the-way hallway where I don't think anyone would hear you scream.
