I know I keep on saying how beautiful everything is, and this is definitely applicable to New Mexico. It has such a varied landscape. There are really arid areas, forests, and mountains - and we even got to see the Rio Grande Gorge.
We stopped in Taos. I've been dying to go. It's such a wonderful artsy community.
We ate dinner at Eske's Brew Pub. They had a great patio area and live music. The band was playing music that can best be described as renaissance folk.
All of the buildings there are done in an adobe style and it really adds to the charm of the town. I got in some great shopping and would really love to come back and spend more time.
