One of the first things we encountered in the state was a car inspection. They wanted to know if we were bringing in any produce or firewood. I guess Californians are super picky about what they let into their state. Well, we did have some firewood left over from the night before. We had to pop the trunk for inspection. We passed - phew!Dexter was pretty excited about California too.
One of our first sights along the 101 was the Redwoods. Wow.
